Abstract

Introduction. The efficiency of logistics systems is determined by a combination of financial, temporal, quality, and resource utilization indicators; however, the overall level remains below 10%, indicating significant potential for improvement. One of the key challenges is the absence of unified evaluation approaches, which complicates comparative analysis and strategic planning

Objective. To develop and improve the methodology of simulation modeling aimed at enhancing the economic efficiency of logistics systems operating under complex and stochastic conditions.

Methods. The study applies simulation modeling methods, including the development of homomorphic models, analysis of time-dependent efficiency functions, and algorithmic modeling of system development scenarios.

Results. The expediency of simulation modeling for evaluating and optimizing logistics processes in cases where analytical solutions are unavailable or overly complex has been substantiated. The use of homomorphic models is proposed to reproduce system dynamics in real time, along with the creation of specialized software for comprehensive analysis. The advantages of the simulation approach (flexibility, multi-criteria optimization, interactivity) have been identified, as well as its limitations (high cost, need for highly qualified specialists, complexity arising from the stochastic nature of systems).

Perspectives. Future research should focus on developing unified methods for assessing logistics system efficiency and integrating simulation modeling with intelligent data analysis technologies.
