Анотація

Обґрунтовано зміст і значення наукових пошуків Ангуса Дітона - лауреата Нобелівської премії з економіки 2015 р. - в контексті взаємозв’язку макро- і мікроекономіки. Акцентовано увагу на “парадоксі Дітона”, який полягає в тому, що обсяги споживання загалом змінюються не настільки різко, як коливаються сукупні доходи споживачів. Така ситуація пов’язана із тим, що агреговані дані про середній рівень доходів є доволі оманливим показником соціально-економічного розвитку країни, оскільки можлива ситуація як більш-менш рівномірного розподілу доходів, так і більш широкого відхилення доходів від середнього рівня, в результаті чого більша частина населення опиняється за межею бідності. Охарактеризовані погляди вченого стосовно змісту суб’єктивного добробуту, який оцінюється за двома параметрами: емоційний добробут, що апелює до щоденного досвіду людини і пов’язаний із інтенсивністю відчуттів радості, захоплення, тривоги, печалі, гніву; оцінка життя, що апелює до персонального відношення людини до нього. Обґрунтовано позицію дослідника щодо надання допомоги бідним країнам, яку він вважає деструктивною і такою, що не вирішує системних проблем бідності, а створює паразитарні настрої в суспільстві, що живе на донорські кошти. Загалом визначено роль наукових робіт вченого у встановленні глибинного взаємозв ’язку між індивідуальними економічними рішеннями та їхніми наслідками для усієї економічної системи.
